AIR TRAVELERS – LAX

LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

For those traveling by air, your destination will be the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The airport is served by all of the major airlines.

SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM AIRPORT

The Radisson Hotel at Los Angeles Airport is the closest hotel to Los Angeles International Airport, and located just one block east of Terminal #1. The hotel will be in view when departing the airport and for anyone choosing to enjoy the pleasant weather it is within walking distance, 1/4 of a mile away. For those preferring to ride to the hotel, the Radisson offers 24-hour complimentary airport transportation.

CONVENTION TRANSPORTATION CONVENTION BUS

As is customary, the NBRC will acquire busses to transport attendees to and from all of the convention destinations, a service provided for a daily boarding fee cost of $10 to help offset some of the expense incurred by the club. Please use the accompanying form to reserve your seat. A good head count is necessary so that adequate transportation can be acquired.

RENTAL CAR

Some members choose to arrive early or stay late when attending conventions, using the occasion to visit local attractions. Others sometimes choose to obtain private vehicle transportation instead of utilizing convention bus service. For anyone interested in renting an automobile, Los Angeles International Airport is served by 39 car rental firms. You can view the complete list of all rental car companies at the airport by visiting http://www.los-angeles-lax.com/car_rental.php, and if choosing so can book your car rental online.

AUTOMOBILE TRAVELERS

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE RADISSON LOS ANGELES AIRPORT

From the airport, exit using Sepulveda North. Stay in right lane. Travel 50 feet, exit onto Century Boulevard, turn right onto hotel property. The Radisson is the closest hotel from the airport, located only one block east.

The Radisson Hotel at Los Angeles Airport is located on 6225 West Century Boulevard. For anyone driving their personal vehicle to the convention site, please refer to your automobile's GPS unit for guidance, or obtain exact driving directions from any point to the hotel from websites such as MapQuest or Yahoo.

The Hosts of the 2010 NBRC Convention are committed to making your visit a memorable one! Following everyone’s arrival and acquaintance gathering on Thursday, August 26, mainline convention activity will transpire on Friday, August 27 and Saturday, August 28.

The Itinerary is in the planning stage with details to be announced in the next bulletin.

CONVENTION “RSVP” REQUEST – BUS & BANQUET RESERVATIONS

To assist in the planning of this year’s convention, advance notice is requested from everyone who will be in attendance. The host flyers want to ensure that adequate accommodations are provided to make your trip the most enjoyable ever! It is essential that we pre-determine an exact number of riders for acquisition of adequate bus transportation. It is also important that we get a good head count of those attending to adequately prepare food and seating for the banquet.
