Should I be worried about paying online for memberships or items?
All of our transactions are performed through PayPal. PayPal uses 128-bit SSL encryption
for any type of personal information you provide. It is absolutely safe. Beware
of "phishing" emails. Any email sent to you from PayPal which asks you to "Confirm"
your account is an attempt at fraud. DELETE SUCH EMAILS IMMEDIATELY and DO NOT CONFIRM
BY GOING TO THE LINKS INCLUDED. The NBRC is not responsible for any breach of your
PayPal account.
Will we have a chat room?
We will not be offering a chat room. There are several reasons for this decision. Most important among them is that
a chat room entails maintenance, monitoring, and other resource needs which the
NBRC can't spare. There are a myriad of specialized websites which do a great job of allowing
individuals to set up their own chat rooms. We strongly encourage members to choose this path if they desire a chat room.
Why do National Championship Fly scores take long to post?
We are working with many regional directors spread across the country. Sometimes these scores take time to
be reported. All scores that have been reported are posted in the National Championship Fly section.
Do I have to be a member to use the Forum?
No, anyone with any interest in Roller topics can join and chime in. We do ask that
you observe the rules stated in the first section of the Forum.
I purchased items on the NBRC store, can I get a tracking number?
To keep costs down, we ship all items either Media Mail or First Class. Neither
of these options offer tracking.
Can I sign up for the World Cup?
The World Cup organization is a separate entity with its own policies and procedures.
